I knew Shawna all her life from the time we were in kindergarten and went to Lewis and Clark, Alameda, and Pocatello High School together and had many of the same classes all the way through. After high school we lived together for a while until she joined the Air Force. We grew up learning to play basketball with people like DiAna Longoria, Suz Bruce, Terry McMasters (Shawna's cousin..who also has passed), Sue Collins, and Tracey Towle. All of whom my mother coached from a young age. Shawna loved the outdoors and enjoyed spending camping trips with her family and friends in the Idaho/Wyoming wilderness riding her ATV's and snowmobiles, and hiking in the areas few get a chance to see and enjoy. Her life was spent loving her family and being there for her Mom and Dad whenever they needed. She was the fifth child out of six and one of five girls the Tillotsons were blessed with. Shawna loved her nieces and nephews and always made their family gatherings extra special when games were to be played during family reunions and outings. Shawna and her partner Vandy Twitchell were together for 14yrs and it's nice to have known she found the love of her life and were together until the end of her days. These were spent living in Alpine and working in Jackson, Wyoming in technology after receiving a degree in Computer Technology. All that knew and loved Shawna miss her everyday, and I for one miss my touchstone. I'll never have a better friend than Shawna and know there will never be anyone who truly knew me as she did. Shawna served in the United States Air Force and was honorably discharged after serving her four years, and was given full burial rites by the honored guard when she was placed to rest in Pocatello, Idaho. Shawna is gone, but never forgotten!
